A renewed...Something

So the website is up for Camp Nanowrimo, and even though they are doing an August session as well, I feel that I need to do this first session. WUDJ is the same way. Both of these events is something that will spark a fire under my ass so I can get going. I've actually made a lot of advancement in my path for my writing career, I snagged a non-paying, free lance job with Flesh Eating Zipper. This is going to help me improve my online presence.

I was writing for the Examiner, but I decided that it wasn't really that creditable. Not to mention to me it kind of gave off the sleaze ball kind of feeling, where you could probably get a spot there no matter how well you wrote. Thus is one reason why I stopped, the other reason was I was running out of time to watch full length Anime series. It was kind of cutting in to my normal writing time, with the Flesh Eating Zipper, I get to write on pretty much what I love that fit into different categories and write when I want. Since I know that the website has a vast readership already (and I do recommend you check it out) I'm not dependent on attracting readers specifically to my articles. (though you know there will be links to the website when my articles appear)

One thing I do want to say, I did know one of the admins before I applied to write for the website. However, I did not depend on that to get the spot. I did everything professionally and follow the guidelines for applying. I didn't even mention it to him, until he said something on my facebook about looking for writers. I say this because I do not want people to think that I got it just because I knew the guy.

So that's it tomorrow I have decided is the official date of jump starting my writing career and goals. It's time to grow up, and that means it's time accomplish my goals in life. I will not sit by idly while my friends and family achieve theirs. I refuse.
